ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An arrangement for heating of aggregate or equivalent in a silo by means of warm air passed into a bottom part of the silo. In cold weather, the temperature of the aggregate in the silo may be so low as to require heating before being carried into a concrete mixer. The present invention proposes to provide a more efficient heating device which provides warm air used for heating the aggregate. The arrangement comprises at least one air channel construction which is mounted inside the silo at least approximately horizontally. The air channel construc- tion is open towards the bottom, and the upper edge thereof is provided with openings or slots for the passage of air, the openings or slots being preferably directed outwards, as well as in air exhaust channels in the wall of the silo, which channels are in themselves known.
