- i - Abstract A Device for Heating Platelike Parts A description is given of a device for heating plastics plates (1) using contact heat and hot gases which are supplied to the plastics plate (1) to be heated by carrier plates (2, 2'). Therein, two carrier plates (2, 2') are movable relative to each other vertically with respect to their common contact surface (3). Gas distribution conduits (11) also open in the contact surface (3). In order that the plastics plates (1) which are to be heated can be removed properly from the heating plates (2, 2'), so that damage to the heating device is avoided, each contact surface (3) of both carrier plates (2, 2') is surrounded by a frame-like, closed outer edge (4) without mouth openings for the gas distribution conduits (11).
