The invention concerns the field of boards to be used for snowboarding. More particularly, the invention concerns a device (5) for holding a boot (2, 3) on a board (1). The holder device (5) is characterized by at least one connection means which is offset laterally relative to the median longitudinal plane (P2, P3) of the boot and positioned in the region of one side of the boot, i.e. the lateral side (6, 9) or the medial side (7, 8) of the boot.
