A device for holographic reconstruction of three-dimensional scenes includes optical focusing means which directs sufficiently coherent light from light means to the eyes of at least one observer via a spatial light modulator that is encoded with holographic information. The device has a plurality of illumination units for illuminating the surface of the spatial light modulator (SLM); each unit comprises a focusing element (21/22/23 or 24), and a light means (LS1/LS2/LS3 or LS4) that emits sufficiently coherent light such that each of these illumination units illuminates one separate illuminated region (R1/R2/R3 or R4) of the surface, whereby the focusing element and the light means are arranged such that the light emitted by the light means (LS1 - LS4) coincides close to or at the observer eyes.
L'invention concerne un dispositif pour la reconstruction holographique de scènes tridimensionnelles, comprenant des moyens de focalisation optique qui dirigent suffisamment de lumière cohérente provenant de moyens lumineux vers les yeux d'au moins un observateur, par l'intermédiaire d'un modulateur spatial de lumière codé à l'aide de données holographiques. Le dispositif comporte une pluralité d'unités éclairage servant à éclairer la surface du modulateur spatial de lumière, chaque unité comprenant un élément de focalisation (21/22/23 ou 24) et des moyens lumineux (LS1/LS2/LS3 ou LS4) qui émettent suffisamment de lumière cohérente pour que permettre aux unités éclairage d'éclairer une région séparée (R1/R2/R3 or R4) de la surface, l'élément de focalisation et les moyens lumineux étant aménagés de sorte que la lumière émise par les moyens lumineux (LS1 - LS4) soit dirigée sur les yeux ou à proximité des yeux du ou des observateurs.
