ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Disclosed is a device for identifying objects and persons and con- sists of a data-carrier (identifying arrangement) and a reading unit. The identifying arrangement comprises a plurality of delay elements, connected in parallel at least at their inlet ends and having different, specific delay times. Connected in series with them, if necessary, are electrical transducers, with specific frequency-band widths, and adjustable attenuating elements, with specific attenuation. The delay branches, connected in parallel, are connected to a transmitting/receiving antenna through matching quadripoles and connect- ing conductors.
