A device for introducing reagents into organometallic vapour phase deposition apparatus is disclosed which comprises only a single valve body and does not require the pipe segments of prior known vent/run systems, thereby overcoming the problem of stagnation of gases in dead spaces of the valve. The device comprises a valve body including gas conduit lines to carry reagent or carrier gases and pneumatic actuator means for switching gas flows between the gas conduit lines, including a pair of inlets for introducing compressed air used control the pneumatic actuator means.
L'invention porte sur un dispositif d'alimentation en réactifs d'un appareil de dépôt en phase vapeur aux organométalliques. Le dispositif comporte un seul corps de robinet et n'a pas besoin des segments de tuyaux des systèmes de purge/marche déjà existants, ce qui lui permet de résoudre le problème de stagnation des gaz dans les espaces morts du robinet. Il comprend également un corps de robinet incluant des lignes de canalisation pour gaz servant à transporter les réactifs ou les gaz vecteurs, et un actionneur pneumatique pour commuter l'écoulement de gaz entre les différentes lignes de canalisation pour gaz, y compris une paire d'orifices d'admission introduisant l'air comprimé utilisé pour commander l'actionneur pneumatique.
