Given that water is still the most practical and most commonly used fire-fighting agent, it is possible to increase its effectiveness as an extinguishing agent by adding non-combustible mineral particles. It is known that clay is a natural material comprised of very fine-grained mineral sediments, called clay. Sensitive clay deposits exist in the natural state, including marine clays, that have a high water content and the consistency of a relatively soft plastic paste. Its sensitivity to remolding can be very high, even infinite, hence its tendency to turn almost liquid (watery mud) on being remolded. The mechanical device of the present invention disaggregates the clay from its solid phase, i.e., in bulk at the plastic paste state, to a liquid phase, i.e., a silty mud. This transformation is obtained by rapid rubbing of a strap, the external surface of which has deep impressions in addition to exerting continuous pressure against a mass of clay, which breaks its consistency and liquefies it. The device is designed to operate in a mobile bucket which allows for storage of a reserve of bulk clay.
