A device for loading rolled material on a work-table for enabling a worker to remain at a position in front thereof during its operation. The work-table consists of a cutting member mounted atop of a table, with a roll of material mounted in a bracket below the table and a loading device to transport a leading edge of material from below the table around the back of the table. In an embodiment, the loading device is a shuttle mounted on a set of tracks extending from a first position under the table to a second position at a rear edge of the table. An engager pin is mounted on the shuttle and is operable to engage the leading edge of material pressed thereon. A strap with a handle extends from the top of the table, around the rear edge and is connected to the shuttle. The result is a work-table that can be loaded and operated by a worked from a single position in front of the table.
