DEVICE FOR MAKING FROZEN CONFECTIONS Abstract of the Disclosure The device for making frozen confections comprises a double-walled vessel consiting of cylindrical inner and outer vessel members each having an upper open end and a closed bottom with the open ends hermetically sealed together to form an appropriate sealed annular space and an appropriate bottom sapce communicating with the annular space between the cylindrical and bottom walls thereof, respectively, a cold keeping agent of an appropriate amount enclosed within the annular and bottom spaces, a receptacle having an inner space to receive therein the double-walled vessel, a cove rmember detachably and non-rotatably mounted on the receptacle, and a plurality of agitating blades detachably and non-rotatably attached at the lower side of the cover member for agitating the material for making the frozen confections charged in the inner vessel member when relative rotation is given between the blades and the inner vessel member. The receptacle consists of an upper body member provided therein with a rotatable table at a lower portion thereof for detachably and non-rotatably mounting thereon the double-walled vessel and a lower body member detachably connected to the upper body member and provided therein with driving means detachably connected to the rotatable table for rotating the same. Since the double-walled vessel is rotated by the driving means of the heavy weight located at the lower part of the receptacle, while the agitating blades are held stationarily by the cover member, it suffices to merely locate the double- walled vessel on the rotatable table before the cover member is fitted to the receptacle for the operation of the cevice, the operation of the device is largely facilitated and the operation is rendered to be stable, and the cleaning of the upper body member and the storage both of the body members are facilitated, because both the body members are detachable from each other.
