Abstract of the Disclosure Device for Making Surgical Incisions With Combined Thermal and Ionizing Laser beams In the cutting with a laser beam there are in the target point material changes which affect the repeated application and efficiency of the laser beam. Provisions are made to send a thermal laser beam and a photodisruptive laser beam and to combine the two into one output beam having a common optical axis, in which the photodisruptive laser beam and the thermal light beam travel simultaneously. The different laser types cause different effects in the target point, whereby a high energy output is achieved at the target point to provide execution of incisions in fluid containing substance. Tissue ablation without bleeding of vascularized tissue is accomplished by the combined use of the argon and the Nd:YAG laser without the need of a probe. The simultaneous application of this dual laser utilizes the principle of the rise of pressure to the fourth power of the temperature increase : P = c.K4. -1-
