A device that binds documents together without staples cuts out paper tongue-containing paper webs (4) and bends them backwards by means of a stamping-bending element (15). The paper tongues (41) are then drawn through a slot in the paper webs from the back side of the paper webs (4). The paper webs are thus bound together only by said paper tongues, i.e. by the paper webs themselves.

Les languettes de papier (41) sont ensuite tirées à travers une entaille pratiquée dans les bandes de papier depuis la face postérieure des bandes de papier (4). Les bandes de papier sont ainsi reliées les unes aux autres uniquement par ces languettes de papier, donc par les bandes de papier elles-mêmes.
