Abstract: The subject of the invention is a device for monitoring the operational readiness of an electrical installation in which a load is connected via a switching device to a DC, AC or three-phase supply, and also for monitoring the switching device. A first monitoring circuit (2) is connected in parallel with the switching unit (1) and contains a first display element (LED 1, LED 2), while a second monitoring circuit (3) containing a second display element (LED 3, LED 4), is connected on the one hand to the branch of the circuit joining the switching device (1) and the electrical load (4) and on the other hand with the voltage supply source.
