Title: Device for monitoring the sheet transport at the feeder of printing presses ABSTRACT For monitoring the sheet transport at the feeder of printing presses, photoelectric sensors are positioned on the drive side and the operator side. With the aid of these sensors the front edges and the corners of the incoming sheets are simultaneously monitored. The photoelectric sensors are coupled to a control means which detects any defective or fouled sensors with the aid of a scanning switch. Furthermore, this control means influences the control of the press in the event of malfunctions and indicates such malfunctions or regular sheet transport on a display panel.
