ABSTRACT DEVICE FOR MOUNTING AN OBJECT TO A POST A device for mounting an object post has a steel strap secured at one end to a buckle. The buckle is a unitary stamped body and the sheet strap is of predetermined length. The buckle has a flange formed to provide an inward edge which bears upon the post when the strap is tightened, and thereby resists rotational displacement of the object around the post. The strap is tightened by pulling on its free end, after connection to the buckle.
