ABSTRACT The invention relates to a device for mounting and tension- ing elastic printing plates on the plate cylinder of a rotary printing machine having tensioning rails assigned to both ends of the plate, whereby a one-piece tensioning rail is provided which permits tensioning as well as stretching or contracting of the trailing plate end in a simple manner, without affecting the practical operation.
