06.02.1986 - 16 - ABSTRACT The invention relates to a device for mounting and tension ing a flexible printing plate on the plate cylinder of a rotary printing machine comprising a means for pivoting the printing plate on the plate cylinder in order to correct the register, whereby the two plate ends are clamped into tensioning rails, both tensioning rails being tiltable and adjustable relative to each other for the register adjust- ment, so that the printing plate is pivoted about a pre- cisely defined pivotal point.
