Abstract: Device for Nippling Active Electrode Sections onto a Com- bination Electrode The invention concerns a device for nippling active elect- rode sections onto the permanent upper section of a combin- ation electrode by screw nipples forming the connection. To create such a device which is simple, rugged and reliable in its design and permits the used electrode section to be denippled precisely and rapidly on the lower end of the per- manent upper section of a combination electrode and allows a new active electrode section to be nipped up, the device comprises an outer, essentially hollow cylindrical element (100) and an inner element (200) which is also essentially hollow cylindrical and is placed coaxially in said outer element (100), while the inner element (200) is designed as a coupling device which can be coupled with the connector element arranged on the upper end of the permanent section of said combination electrode, sand a drive is provided (300) by means of which the inner element (200) is rotatable in relation to the outer element (100) around its axis.
