ABSTRACT The invention relates to a device for perforating cigarettes or the like which are arranged in an ordered manner in a packet, this device comprising, firstly a seating casing for partially receiving the packet and, secondly, at least one row of equidistant needles mounted on a common support and penetrating through the packet during a relative sliding of the needles and the casing parallel to the direction of these needles. In this device, the needles are displaceable inside the casing and pass through openings provided in one wall of that casing, so as to be guided and maintained equidistant from the time at which they are introduced into the packet.
