ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A device for physical classification of particles of different densities and surface areas in aqueous suspension comprises three or more concentric circular cylinders. The said device has means for connecting to the apex of the bottom section of a hydrocyclone. The said cylinders are inter- connected at bottom levels in such a way that the cylinders having smaller diameters are extended below the ones with larger diameters. Each said cylinder is equiped with a discharge outlet located at its bottom level.
