Described herein is a device for picking up a tubular knitted article (M) from a cylinder (5) of a circular knitting machine (3) and for closing the toe of said article. The device comprises a sewing machine for sewing the toe of the tubular article and a suction pipe (13) which develops from an intake end (13A), in an area where the tubular article is picked up from the circular knitting machine, to an output end (13B), in an area where the toe of the article is sewn. Also provided is a guide element (15) for guiding the tubular article, said guide element developing inside said suction pipe and extending inside the cylinder of the circular knitting machine. Between the guide element (15) and the inner wall of the suction pipe (13) there remains a space for transit of the tubular article.
L'invention concerne un dispositif servant à retirer un article tricoté tubulaire (M) du cylindre (5) d'une machine à tricoter circulaire (3) et à fermer le doigt dudit article. Ce dispositif est composé d'une machine à coudre servant à coudre le doigt de l'article tubulaire et d'un tuyau d'aspiration (13) s'étendant depuis une extrémité d'admission (13A), dans une zone où l'article tubulaire est retiré de la machine à tricoter circulaire, jusqu'à une extrémité de sortie (13B) dans la zone où le doigt de l'article est cousu. L'invention concerne également un élément de guidage (15) servant à guider l'article tubulaire et s'étendant à l'intérieur dudit tuyau d'aspiration, à l'intérieur du cylindre de la machine à tricoter circulaire. Un espace de transit de cet article tubulaire est situé entre l'élément de guidage (15) et la paroi intérieure du tuyau d'aspiration (13).
