The device for placing stacked envelopes (2) in a tote box (19) has a vertical stacking shaft (4) for stacking a plurality of horizontally superimposed envelopes, from which the envelopes are delivered in groups to a horizontal platform located beneath said shaft. A discharge lever (9) that moves horizontally is provided in the area of the platform (7). A transfer box (11) for receiving a group of envelopes (2a) is moveably mounted on the side opposite to the discharge lever (9) on the platform (7). Said transfer box (11) is opened towards the platform (7) and has a closing device (12) which is to be opened on the end that faces the platform. The transfer box (11) can rotate 90~ around a horizontal axis of rotation, which can be vertically displaced. A filling station (18) is provided beneath the moving area of the transfer box (11) and said transfer box (11) can be displaced to the vicinity of the top edge of the corresponding tote box (19). A holding device (21) is provided in the area of the filling station (18), said holding device having at least one vertically moving holding element (26) and a forward feed device (22) with a forward feed element (31) moving vertically and horizontally in the longitudinal direction of the tote box.
L'invention concerne un dispositif permettant d'introduire des enveloppes (2) empilées, dans un bac de manutention (19). Ce dispositif comporte un compartiment d'empilement (4) vertical pour empiler une pluralité d'enveloppes superposées horizontalement, d'où les enveloppes sont délivrées par groupe sur une plate-forme horizontale disposée en dessous de ladite cuve. Dans la zone de la plate-forme (7), il est prévu un curseur de dégagement (9) à déplacement horizontal. Sur la face de la plate-forme (7) opposée au curseur de dégagement (9), il est prévu un bac de transfert (11) monté mobile, destiné à recevoir un groupe d'enveloppes (2a). Le bac de manutention (11) est ouvert en direction de la plate-forme (7) et présente à son extrémité opposée à la plate-forme un dispositif de verrouillage (12) à ouvrir. Le bac de manutention (11) peut pivoter de 90· autour d'un axe de pivotement (A1) horizontal qui peut être déplacé verticalement. En dessous de la zone de déplacement du bac de transfert (11), il est prévu un poste de remplissage (18) et le bac de manutention (11) peut être déplacé jusqu'à proximité du bord supérieur de chacun des bacs de manutention (19). Dans la zone du poste de remplissage (18), il est prévu un dispositif de retenue (21) ayant au moins un élément de retenue (26) à déplacement vertical et un dispositif d'avancement (22) avec un élément d'avancement (31) déplaçable verticalement, et horizontalement dans le sens longitudinal du bac de transport.
