The invention relates to a device for powering the supply pump (2) of a rocket engine of a spacecraft, characterised in that it comprises an inertia wheel (1) and a means for transmitting the rotation of the inertia wheel to the pump. The device advantageously includes means for measuring the rotation speed of the wheel and a means (21) for disengaging the wheel (1) and the pump (2) for a speed lower than a given speed lower than the nominal rotation speed of the wheel. The invention can particularly be used for a space plane having a rocket engine in which the supply system includes at least one pump powered by a device of the invention and a means for operating said device, an in-flight plane.
L'objet de l'invention est un dispositif de motorisation de pompe (2) d'alimentation de moteur fusée de véhicule spatial caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend une roue d'inertie (1) et un moyen de transmission de la rotation de la roue d'inertie à la pompe. Il comporte avantageusement des moyens de mesure de la vitesse de rotation de la roue et des moyens (21) de désaccouplement de la roue (1) et de la pompe (2) pour une vitesse inférieure à une vitesse donnée inférieure à la vitesse de rotation nominale de la roue. L'invention s'applique notamment à un avion spatial comportant un moteur fusée dont l'alimentation comprend au moins une pompe motorisée par un dispositif de l'invention et des moyens de mise en fonction du dispositif, avion en vol.
