ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A device for preserving live marine products. The device comprises a holding tank which contains water for storing the live products. An indirect cooling system removes heat from the water, maintaining it at a desirable temperature. The holding tank is disposed aboard a marine vessel and the cooling system is driven by the vessel's existing hydraulic system. The device may further include filtering mechanisms for removing organic toxins from the water, and mechanisms for oxygenating the water. The components of the device which contact the water are manufactured from materials which tend to resist salt water corrosion and which also resist deterioration and consquent contamination of the water. 19
