The invention relates to a device for preventing the explosion of an electrical transformer (1) comprising a vessel (2) which is filled with a combustible coolant. The inventive device comprises a decompression element (15) which is used to decompress the vessel (2), a container (18) which is disposed downstream of the decompression element (15) and at least one plug (20) for hermetically sealing the container (18) in order to collect a fluid that passes through the decompression element (15).

Dispositif de prévention contre l' explosion d'un transformateur électrique (1) pourvu d'une cuve (2) remplie de fluide de refroidissement combustible, comprenant un élément de relâchement de pression (15) pour réaliser une décompression de la cuve (2), un réservoir (18) disposé en aval de l~élément de relâchement de pression (15) et au moins un obturateur (20) du réservoir (18) de façon que le réservoir (18) soit hermétique pour recueillir un fluide passé par l'élément de relâchement de pression (15).
