A device is disclosed for constricting a strand (2) of plastic material, seaming a coating and stripping said strand, in particular a multilayer extruded strand, at predetermined intervals using a tool (3, 4) comprising a number of segments (35-40) which can be displaced towards one another in two detachable sections (31, 32) each of which contains a portion of the segments (35, 40).

L'invention concerne un dispositif (1) permettant de pincer, éventuellement de fermer simultanément une enveloppe et éventuellement de séparer un brin (2) de matériau plastique, notamment un brin extrudé multicouche, à intervalles déterminés à l'aide d'un outil (3, 4) composé de plusieurs segments (35 à 40) pouvant être déplacés les uns contre les autres. L'outil (3, 4) comprend deux sections (31, 32) séparables dont chacune contient une partie des segments (35 à 40).
