The invention relates to a device (1) for processing foodstuffs, comprising an upper part (2), a drive mechanism (10) and a lower part (3) with a working container (30), in which a working unit (60) can be manually driven and made to rotate by means of the drive mechanism (10). The drive mechanism (10) comprises a tractive cable drive and is operatively connected to the working unit (60) by means of a releasable torque-coupled connection. The drive mechanism (10) also comprises a primary and secondary drive unit (101, 102), which are operatively interconnected by means of a gear in such a way that a transmission ratio of between 1:1.5 and 1:4 and preferably between 1:1.8 and 1:1.9 is achieved. The primary and secondary drive units (101, 102) are axially parallel and dimensioned in such a way that at least one of the drive units intersects the rotational axis of the other respective drive unit. Despite the transmission ratio achieved, the dimensions of the drive mechanism (10) can be kept small, allowing said mechanism (10) to be housed without any problems in the upper part (2). The non-employment of two continuous axes, the eccentric arrangement of the drive wheel axis and the use of a drive wheel (14) with inner gearing allow an axial wheel (17) for indirectly driving the drive unit (60) to be mounted on the central axis (4) of the device (1) in a preferred embodiment and the transmission to be achieved by the larger drive wheel (14), without causing the space required in the upper part (2) next to the axial pin (17) to increase by the diameter of the drive wheel (14).
L'invention concerne un dispositif (1) de traitement d'aliments, comportant une partie supérieure (2), un mécanisme d'entraînement (10) et une partie inférieure (3) pourvue d'un contenant de travail (30). Le mécanisme d'entraînement (10) permet d'entraîner manuellement une unité de travail (60) et de l'amener en mouvement rotatif. Le mécanisme d'entraînement (10) comporte un entraînement à câble de traction et se trouve en connexion active avec l'unité de travail (60) au moyen d'une connexion à moments de rotation amovible. Le mécanisme d'entraînement (10) comporte par ailleurs une unité d'entraînement primaire et une unité d'entraînement secondaire (101, 102) se trouvant en connexion active au moyen d'une transmission de manière à obtenir un rapport de transmission de 1:1,5 à 1:4, de préférence de 1:1,8 à 1:1,9. L'unité d'entraînement primaire et une unité d'entraînement secondaire (101, 102) sont disposées de façon axialement parallèle et dimensionnées de telle manière qu'au moins une des unités d'entraînement coupe l'axe de rotation de l'autre unité d'entraînement. Malgré le rapport de transmission obtenu, les dimensions du mécanisme d'entraînement (10) restent mesurées de telle manière que le mécanisme d'entraînement peut être logé sans problème dans la partie supérieure (2). L'abandon des deux axes traversants, la disposition excentrique de l'axe de roue d'entraînement et l'utilisation d'une roue d'entraînement à denture intérieure (14) permettent, dans un mode de réalisation préféré, de placer une roue axiale (17) pour l'entraînement indirect de l'unité de travail (60) sur l'axe central (4) du dispositif (1) et d'obtenir simultanément la transmission par la roue d'entraînement plus grande (14), sans que l'espace nécessaire dans la partie supérieure (2), à côté du pivot axial (17), ne soit augmenté de l'ordre du diamètre de la roue d'entraînement (14).
