The invention concerns a device (1) comprising a mixer (4) producing a signal (S4) having a frequency (F4) equal to the difference between two frequencies (F2, F3) which are those of the two signals (S2, S3) each produced by a generator (2, 3) and which vary parabolically depending on the temperature (T) with quadratic coefficients (.beta.1, .beta.2) different from each other. In order to make the frequency (F4) of the signal (S4) produced by the mixer (4) at least substantially independent of temperature (T), the generators (2, 3) are so designed that the relationship of the quadratic coefficients (.beta.1, .beta.2) is equal to the inverse relationship of the values (F2r, F3r) which the corresponding frequencies (F2, F3) have at a predetermined temperature (Tr).
Le dispositif (1) comporte un mélangeur (4) qui produit un signal (S4) ayant une fréquence (F4) égale à la différence entre deux fréquences (F2, F3) qui sont celles de deux signaux (S2, S3) produits chacun par un générateur (2, 3) et qui varient paraboliquement en fonction de la température (T) avec des coefficients quadratiques (.beta.¿1?, .beta.¿2?) différents l'un de l'autre. Pour que la fréquence (F4) du signal (S4) produit par le mélangeur (4) soit au moins sensiblement indépendante de la température (T), les générateurs (2, 3) sont agencés de manière que le rapport des coefficients quadratiques (.beta.¿1?, .beta.¿2?) soit égal à l'inverse du rapport des valeurs (F2¿r?, F3¿r?) que les fréquences correspondantes (F2, F3) ont à une température déterminée (T¿r?).
