ABSTRACT A machine for making gilled pipes of plastic or other extrudable material comprising an extrusion nozzle and a mandrel and two chains of mold jaws running at opposite sides of said mandrel. The mold jaws have grooves in their inner surface for forming fins round the pipe when it is extruded. The mandrel is conical and its diameter increases in the running direction of said mold jaw chains. When the extruded plastic mase has left the nozzle it is pressed with force outwards by the conical part of said mandrel into the grooves of said mold jaws for forming said fins.
