A B S T R A C T A device for projecting a dose of divided substance in liquid or powder form, in particular for pharmaceutical use comprises a receptacle having an outlet orifice, a tearable partition separating the receptacle into two chambers, namely a first chamber adjacent to the outlet orifice and serving to receive the divided substance, and a second chamber which includes a compressed gas at the moment of use, means being provided for perforating the partition at the moment of use.
