ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A trolley which can run along a railway track carries a support structure which can be lowered on to the railway track and then the trolley can be raised so that it is supported by the support structure. At least one of the rails is gripped so that it is raised also. Preferably the raised trolley can readily be turned about a vertical axis, preferably through 180°.
