In order to reduce pressure pulsations in a hydraulic line (3, 5) caused, in particular, by a pump, a slidable wall (9) is provided in a compensation volume (11) connected to the line. This slidable wall is pro- vided with a counterpressure at the surface opposite the volume which at least virtually corresponds to the mean pressure in the line or the compensation volume.
