The presented device reduces the water consumption in toilet water tanks via maintaining an empty tank, opposed to the traditional continuously water- filled design. This modification eliminates the possibility of leaking in the flush valve located at the bottom of the tank. The novel design comprises of a two stage flush set-up: first water fills the tank, and second, the flush valve automatically opens. The proposed device is easily installed through a square hole in the upper left corner of the water tank. Water enters from the home outlet via the device's housing channel, which remains closed by the filling valve piston. The water then exits to fill the tank through the vertical tube when the fill valve is open. As with conventional water tanks, the device handle must be pressed downward for the flush to occur. The handle rotates the camshaft which is inserted through holes in the post, cover, and the housing with two cams. The cams move down the fill valve bar with the fill valve piston in order to open the fill valve and fill up the tank. In its lowest position the fill valve bar is automatically locked by two spring pivoted locks attached to the housing unit. Along with the fill valve bar, the carrier (held with two horizontal guides), can simultaneously move downward and horizontally. The latter movement is enabled by a pin sliding in the housing panel loop slot. The carrier delivers the pivoted spring hook in the lowest fixed position. The hook on the carrier can only be rotated in one direction and automatically returns by a spring. In order to reach the lowest fixed position, the hook meets the supported low lever bar and rotates up by the same bar going through downward. Underneath the low lever bar the hook rotates back down by a spring, which enables it to move the low lever bar up. The water tank fills and the floater travels up. The floater is the part of the pivoted upper lever subassembly, which rotates up until the position where the water tank is completely filled. In this position the upper lever unlocks the fill valve bar via rotating two spring pivoted locks by two adjustable screws. Two upper lever supports push up the two cams. The guided fill valve bar and piston are pushed up by two springs, close the fill valve, and stop the water tank from filling. Together with the fill valve bar the carrier is kept in place with two horizontal guides and moves upward and horizontally at the same time. The horizontal movement of the carrier is provided by pin sliding in the housing panel loop slot. The carrier delivers the pivoted spring hook in an upper fixed position. The hook pulls up the low lever bar with the wire rod and opens the flush valve by stretched wire (chain). The water flushes. The horizontal movement of the hook provides disconnection between the hook and the low lever bar in an upper position. As a result the flapper and low lever bar fall down and reach the lowest position by force of gravity.
