A DEVICE FOR REGULATING DRINKING WATER ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A device for treating drinking water. The device includes an electrolyzer divided into a cathode chamber and an anode chamber by an unglazed partition. Electrodes are disposed in the chambers and are energizable by direct current for a prescribed time so that water in the electrolyzer is separated to two components each having a different content of hydroxyl radical due to electrolysis and electroendosmose. A heat element is disposed in a space formed in the cathode to warm up the water in the electro- lyzer at each electrolysis.
