The present invention concerns a device for releasing propellant from foamed materials, especially PUR foam, having a matrix of cylindrical drillings widened on the side facing the inlet side and roller-like pressure members, in which there is a defined pressure ratio, i.e. the ratio of the drilling diameter in the cylindrical part to the matrix thickness. The invention also relates to a process using the device.

L'invention concerne un dispositif qui permet de libérer le gaz propulseur contenu dans des matériaux cellulaires expansés, notamment de la mousse de polyuréthane. Ce dispositif comprend une matrice pourvue d'alésages cylindriques qui s'élargissent du côté faisant face au côté où s'effectue l'alimentation, ainsi que des éléments de compression se présentant sous forme de rouleaux. Il existe un rapport de compression défini, notamment le rapport du diamètre des alésages, dans la partie cylindrique, à l'épaisseur de la matrice. L'invention concerne en outre un procédé qui fait appel audit dispositif.
