A device comprising a conveying catheter (30) and a compression system (50) which is arranged axially displaceably therein is proposed for removing an endoprosthesis (5) which is implanted in a hollow organ in a living being and is self-expanding in design. The individual elements of the compression system (50) are designed and arranged relative to one another such that, during an axially orientated relative movement, the endoprosthesis (5) gripped by a gripping system (15) brought into the radially spread gripping position can be tapered roughly in the form of a so-called envelope curve (8) successively radially and can be pulled into the conveying catheter (30) designed as a receiving tube. The gripping system (15) arranged at the distal end of a tension element (10) can be repeatedly brought into engagement with the implanted endoprosthesis (5) and can be completely released therefrom between engagements.
Dispositif constitué d'un cathéter transporteur (30) et d'un système de compression (50) à déplacement axial. Ce dispositif sert à enlever un tenon endodontique (5) auto-expansif qui est implanté dans un organe creux d'un être vivant. Les éléments particuliers du système de compression (50) sont conçus et disposés les uns par rapport aux autres de façon que, durant un mouvement relatif d'orientation axiale, le tenon endodontique (5), retenu par un mécanisme de préhension (15) amené en position de prise d'écart radial, puisse être effilé plus ou moins en forme de courbe enveloppe (8) successivement de façon radiale, et de sorte qu'il puisse être tiré dans le cathéter transporteur (30) conçu comme tube de réception. Le système de préhension (15), disposé à l'extrémité distale de l'élément de tension (10), peut s'engager de façon répétée avec le tenon endodontique implanté (5) et peut être complètement relâché entre les engagements.
