ABSTRACT A compact, portable rocking device for baby carriages and the like including a box-like housing arranged to be attached to a wall of the carriage; a circular, horizontally disposed plate disposed in the housing, an integral arm extending outwardly horizontally from the plate; a weight disposed on the arm; a miniature DC motor mounted in the housing coupled via transmission apparatus to the plate for rotation thereof; a switch for actuating and stopping the motor; and electronic apparatus for automatically activating the stitch.
