The invention concerns a device (1) comprising a rotating capping head (2) with axial displacement. Said device is characterized in that the head (2) is provided with means for screwing a cap (8) on the neck (70), and means for crimping the cap beneath said crimping ring (701), said axial displacement including a first axial displacement of said head (2) activating said screwing means and a second axial displacement of said head (2) activating said crimping means, so as to produce successively, and in one single axial displacement of said head (2), a screwing step and a crimping step constituting the capping process. The inventive device (1) provides the advantage of enabling the cap to be screwed and crimped in one single and same step.

Le dispositif (1) comprend une tête de capsulage (2) tournante et à déplacement axial et est caractérisé en ce que la tête (2) est dotée d'un moyen de vissage d'une capsule (8) sur le goulot (70), et d'un moyen de sertissage de la capsule sous ladite bague de sertissage (701), ledit déplacement axial comprenant un premier déplacement axial de ladite tête (2) activant ledit moyen de vissage et un second déplacement axial de ladite tête (2) activant ledit moyen de sertissage, de manière à avoir successivement, et en un seul déplacement axial de ladite tête (2), une étape de vissage et une étape de sertissage constituant ledit capsulage. Avantage : le dispositif (1) permet de réaliser en une même étape le vissage d'une capsule et son sertissage.
