The invention relates to a device for sealing lids made of foil coated with sealable material onto the openings of packages (1) arranged at a distance (m) to each other and transported intermittently by first conveyor elements (6) in a first direction of travel (7). The invention aims to improve the performance of such a device while at the same time simplifying the conveyance of the lids to the packages. To this end, a) transport means (9, 11, 12, 18, 30) are provided for so that the lids, which are arranged in a row one after the other and are perpendicular to the direction of travel (7) of the packages (1) can be transported intermittently over the openings of at least three packages (1) situated in a series of sealing stations and placed at a distance (m) from each other which corresponds to a machine section; b) the transport means (9, 11, 12, 18, 30) comprise a belt (12) guided by drive pulleys (9, 11) on which the lids are non-permanently attached by means of retaining elements one after the other at a distance corresponding to one belt segment, whereby said belt comprises positioning devices; and c) measurement and display devices (17) are fixed before and after the series the sealing stations.
L'invention concerne un dispositif pour sceller des couvercles constitués de feuilles recouvertes d'un matériau scellable, sur les ouvertures d'emballages (1) placés à une distance (m) les uns des autres et transportés de façon intermittente par un premier moyen d'acheminement (6) dans un premier sens de déplacement (7). L'invention vise à accroître le rendement d'un tel dispositif et à simplifier l'acheminement des couvercles aux emballages. A cet effet, a) des moyens de transport (9, 11, 12, 18, 30) sont prévus pour acheminer de façon intermittente les couvercles alignés les uns derrière les autres, perpendiculairement au sens de déplacement (7) des emballages (1), au-dessus des ouvertures d'au moins trois emballages (1) situés dans une rangée de stations de scellage et placés à une distance (m) les uns des autres, correspondant à une division de la machine; b) le moyen de transport (9, 11, 12, 18, 30) présente une bande (12) guidée par l'intermédiaire de poulies d'entraînement (9, 11), sur laquelle les couvercles sont fixés de façon libérable les uns derrière les autres avec un écart correspondant à une division de la bande, par l'intermédiaire d'éléments de retenue, ladite bande comportant des dispositifs de positionnement; et c) des dispositifs de mesure et d'affichage (17) sont placés à demeure en amont et en aval de la rangée de stations de scellage.
