The invention relates to packaging for various products. The inventive device for sealing various types of containers comprises a base (2) which is provided with a housing (3) for receiving at least one container (4) and a frame (7) which is provided with at least one means for fixing a seal or similar (30) on said container and which can move between a rest position (A) and a working position above the housing. The invention is characterized in that it comprises means (15) for joining the frame (7) to the base, enabling the frame (7) to be displaced between a working position and an offset position on the side of the housing (3), corresponding to the rest position (A), and wherein the fixing means is aligned in a substantially analogous position to the working position thereof with respect to the vertical. The invention can be used in a machine which is used to heat-seal trays.

Le dispositif conforme à l'invention, pour l'operculage de contenants divers du type comprenant un socle (2) pourvu d'un logement (3) de réception d'au moins un contenant (4) et un châssis (7) qui est pourvu d'au moins un moyen pour fixer un opercule ou analogue (30) sur le contenant et qui est mobile entre une position, dite de repos (A), et une position au-dessus du logement, dite de travail, est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend des moyens de liaison (15) du châssis (7) avec le socle (2), autorisant un déplacement du châssis (7) entre la position de travail et une position décalée sur le côté du logement (3) correspondant à la position de repos (A) et dans laquelle le moyen de fixation présente, par rapport à la verticale, une orientation sensiblement analogue à son orientation en position de travail.
