The invention relates to a means of interfacing video and multimedia of the MPEG type, for connecting at least one display device, for example a television screen, to at least one video source, essentially comprising a processing unit for display of any MPEG type video stream in real-time or otherwise, for storage, recording and broadcast thereof on a broadcast network (4) and/or on an extended telecommunication network (10) and at least one screen interface (7) and a connection interface to a local or extended network (5,9). The above is characterised in essentially comprising a memory for specific images B and P in each audiovisual port (12) and each video interface means (8) comprises memory, recording and processing functions for audiovisual programmes and is connected to at least one display device in the form of a television screen (6), whereby each video interface means (8) reconstitutes the MPEG flow coming from the hard disc thereof, algorithms and images B and P from port (12).
La présente invention concerne un gencement d'interfaçage vidéo et multimédia de type MPEG pour rlier au moins un dispositif d'affichage, par exemple un dispositif de type écran de télévision, à au moin une source vidéo, constitué essentiellement, d'une part, d'une unité de traitement adaptée pour afficher tout flux vidéo de type MPEG en temps réel ou différé, de le stocker, de l'enregistrer et/ou de l'envoyer sur un réseau de diffusion (4) et/ou sur un réseau de télecommunication étendu (10) et, d'autre part, d'au moins une interface d'ecran (7) et d'une interface de connexion à un réseau local ou étendu (5,9), caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend essentiellement d'une part, une mémoire de certaines images B et P dans chaque portail audiovisuel (12) et d'autre part, que chaque agencement d'interfaçage vidéo (8) possède des fonctions de stockage, d'enregistrement et de traitement de programmes audiovisuels et est associé à au moins un dispositif d'affichage de type écran de télévision (6), chaque agencement d'interfaçage vidéo (8) reconstituant les flux MPEG en provenance des informations de son propre disque dur et des algorithmes et des images B et P en provenance du protail (12).
