Device for securing card-type objects, in particular cheque guarantee cards and credit cards, against being lost or mislaid, comprising two parts (1, 2) which are movable relative to each other between a secure position in which the card is retained in its storage space and an open position in which the card can be removed, and mechanical means (5, 6, 6', 7, 8) which prevent closure (1, 2) of the parts until in the secure position, and which can be rendered inoperable by means of the card. The mechanical means (5, 6, 6', 7, 8) are formed by an element (7) which is movable with respect to one of said two parts and which is able to displace itself from a rest position to a blocking position, and a lug (6) on the other one of the two parts against which said element (7) runs. There is an embodiment intended for use with a case or wallet which is provided with compartments in which the cards are kept. There are also embodiments in which the security mechanism forms part of a holder for keeping a single card.
Dispositif de fixation d'objets de type cartes et en particulier de cartes bancaires et de cartes de crédit empêchant la perte et le mauvais positionnement comportant deux parties mobiles l'une par rapport à l'autre entre une position de sécurité où la carte est retenue dans son espace de rangement et une position d'ouverture où elle peut être extraite, ainsi que des moyens mécaniques empêchant la fermeture de se refermer avant que lesdites parties ne soient en position de sécurité, et qui est invalidé lors de la remise en place de la carte. Les moyens mécaniques comportent un élément mobile par rapport à l'une des parties ci-dessus et pouvant se déplacer entre une position de repos et une position de blocage, ainsi qu'un ergot placé sur l'autre des deux parties contre laquelle ledit élément coulisse. Il en existe une version pour mallettes ou portefeuilles munie de pochettes pour cartes et d'autres versions où le mécanisme de sûreté fait parti d'un étui pour une seule carte.
