ABSTRACT Device for securing strips to the frame of a bedspring comprised of a rectangular frame, prefer- ?bly tubular with rounded edges, which support base for the mattress is comprised of a plurality of resilient arched strips positioned parallel to one another and to the minor sides of the frame, the ends of which are se- cured thereto by ? securing device, characterised in that is is formed of a support consisting of a rod which partially encircles the strip section, its ends con- tinuing in straight sections longitudinal to the strip; ? ferrule, preferably of plastic, whose bottom wall in- cludes arched grooves for guiding said straight sections of the support protruding outwards therefrom through the corresponding holes of its bottom wall, and a damper means defined by a piece, preferably of rubber, housed in the bottom of the ferrule and on which the strip rests; the ends of the support being introduced in the frame by passing through holes provided in the inner wall there- of.
