The invention relates to a device for separating ferromagnetic particles from a suspension. Said device comprises a tubular reactor and a plurality of magnets which are arranged outside the reactor, the magnets (9) being movable along at least a part of the length of the reactor (2) up to the vicinity of a particle extractor (5) by means of a rotary conveyor (8).
