A DEVICE FOR SEPARATING THE COMPONENTS OF A GAS MIXTURE Abstract of the Disclosure In a device for separating the components of a gas mixture and especially isotopic species of different masses such as U235 and U238, the mixture is passed through a vessel having an axis of revolution and forms a vortex, the axis of which coincides with the axis of the vessel. A plurality of openings for the admission of the gas mixture are spaced at intervals over the entire surface of the vessel. Means for withdrawing fractions enriched in one of the components of the mixture to varying degrees are centered on the axis of the vessel. -1-
