Disclosed herein is a device for shielding a padlock comprising a longitudinal panel arranged longitudinally relative to a padlock; a lateral panel arranged laterally relative to the padlock; an aperture in one of the longitudinal and lateral panels to receive a padlock clasp; and means to maintain the longitudinal and lateral panels in a wrapped condition around the padlock thereby to shield the padlock.
