The invention relates to an apparatus (100) for classifying charge material (9), comprising a static classifier (1) which has a ventilating base (1a) oriented obliquely to the vertical and traversed by classifying gas (2); an inlet opening (3) for charging the charge material to the ventilating base; an outlet opening (4) for the coarse material; a downstream dynamic classifier (5) which comprises at least one rotor; and at least one outlet opening for the classifying gas (2~) laden with fine material. The ventilating base has a ratio of width to vertical height (H) of at least 0.45, preferably of at least 0.6.

L'invention concerne un dispositif (100) pour séparer des matériaux de chargement (9) au moyen d'un séparateur statique (1) doté d'un fond de ventilation (1a) incliné relativement à la verticale et traversé par un gaz de séparation (2), d'une ouverture d'entrée (3) pour le chargement du matériau sur le fond de ventilation, d'une ouverture de sortie (4) pour le matériau grossier, d'un séparateur (5) dynamique en aval comportant au moins un rotor et d'au moins une ouverture d'évacuation pour le gaz de séparation (2') chargé de matière fine. Le rapport entre la largeur et la hauteur (H) du fond de ventilation est d'au moins 0.45 et de préférence d'au moins 0.6.
