A device (1) for sorting documents comprising a frame (2) in which are arranged a number of vertical and substantially parallel compartments (4) in which documents are placed standing up. Said compartments (4) are delimited by means of partitions (3) which at their inner vertical sides and/or at an inner portion of their upper sides are fixedly or removably connected to elements (5) forming part of the frame (2) or arranged therein. The sorting device is characterised in that the compartments (4) have a bottom (6) in which the sorted documents rest, said bottom (6) and partitions being displaceable in relation to one another in a direction which, when seen in a horizontal plane, at least in the final stage of the movement, deviates from the general direction in which the partitions (3) extend.
L'invention concerne un dispositif (1) permettant de trier des documents et comprenant une structure (2) contenant un certain nombre de compartiments (4) verticaux et sensiblement parallèles dans lesquels des documents sont placés verticalement. Lesdits compartiments (4) sont limités par des éléments de séparation (3) dont le côté vertical interne et/ou une partie intérieure de leur côté supérieur est/sont attaché(s) de façon fixe ou amovible à des éléments (5) faisant partie de la structure (2) ou insérés dedans. Le dispositif de tri est caractérisé en ce que les compartiments (4) ont une base (6) sur laquelle reposent les documents triés. Cette base (6) peut être déplacée par rapport aux séparations dans une direction qui, vue en coupe horizontale, s'écarte de l'orientation générale des séparations (3), au moins lorsque cette base est entièrement sortie.
