ABSTRACT Device for spacing bottles. In order to prevent bottles from falling over when they are accelarerated during spacing for inspection purposes, they are conveyed from a supply conveyor onto a delivery conveyor by means of an intermediate conveyor overlapping said supply conveyor as well as said delivery conveyor, said intermediate conveyor comprising at least one pair of driven endless conveying elements clamping bottles between them.
