C A N A D A Rogers, Bereskin & Parr INVENTOR: LLOYD GRAHAM TITLE: DEVICE FOR SPLITTING WOOD ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A device for splitting wood is intended for mounting on an attachment plate of a hydraulic mechanism, as found on agricultural loader tractors. The device has a mounting member and a blade with a cutting edge. The mounting member has a mounting face for abutting the attachment plate or a bucket or other component already mounted on the attachment plate. A securing means is provided for securing the device in position. The securing means can comprise a locating member extending through an aperture in the attachment plate and a locking member inserted into a slot in the locating member.
