The invention relates to a device for the manipulation of objects, in particular boxes (8), comprising a stacking wheel (1), arranged between a lifting gear (10,12) for stacks (4) of objects (8) and a transport device (6) for objects (8), for the stacking of objects (8) or the removal thereof from a stack (4). On rotating the stacking wheel (1), either an object (8) is transferred from the transport device (6) to the stack in the lifting direction (10, 12), or vice versa according to the direction of rotation thereof. The stacking wheel (1) has pairs of retaining plates distributed over the circumference thereof, on which pivoting fingers are mounted. The pivoting fingers are pressed into the working position thereof by means of springs, in which the above extend over the facing surfaces of the retainer plates and engage in recess openings in the objects (8), during the transfer of objects by means of the stacking wheel (1).

L'invention concerne un système de manutention d'objets, en particulier de caisses (8), pourvu d'une roue d'empilage (1) permettant d'empiler les objets (8) ou de les prélever dans une pile (4), cette roue d'empilage (1) étant placée entre un dispositif de levage (10, 12) servant à soulever des piles (4) d'objets (8) et un dispositif de transport (6) servant à transporter des objets (8). Lorsque la roue d'empilage (1) est mise en rotation, un objet (8) est transféré du système de transport (6) à la pile (4) dans le système de levage (10, 12), ou inversement en fonction du sens de rotation de la roue. Des paires de plaques de retenue sur lesquelles sont montés des doigts pivotants sont réparties sur la circonférence de la roue d'empilage (1).
